Stop the emoji

We have a bakery and there is a field for people add writing to their cake. Normally, this is something like, "Happy Birthday." People are also using emoji, which doesn't always come through. When we export the order into our order management system, the emoji turns to garbage. 

 

Is there a way I can prevent customers from using emoji? I know I can write that on the order form, but ironically, my customers don't read the words.

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community. I can see how that would be frustrating. Are you able to see the emoji in the app and on web browsers? Is it only not showing when printed?

 

Currently, we do not have a way to limit the characters/emojis. That would be a feature request. I'll go ahead and pass your feedback along to our Product Teams.

Yes, I can see it in the app and when it prints out, but my pastry chefs are not equipped to replicate emoji on a cake.
