Feature Request: US Military Shipping Needs to be Added to Square Online / Weebly

Hello,

I was contacted by a customer today because she was unable to complete her purchase because she's in the US military and needs her order sent to an APO. I've read other threads and see I can do a workaround by sending her an invoice to complete her purchase until this is hopefully resolved by the Weebly team. I see it's been an issue bought up by other businesses for over 4 years with no resolution yet unfortunately. My concern is this is a customer service issue for the service we are able to provide our costumers, who may or may not speak up but just go to a more user friendly business and also the lack of quicker resolutions from Weebly.

Great news, everyone! You can now edit the states used for the United States region in your shipping settings and included APO addresses. Go to Fulfillment > Shipping, edit your region, then click the Select States link:

Square needs to add Overseas military addresses
They contain the APO or FPO designation along with a two–character “state” abbreviation of AE, AP, or AA and the ZIP Code or ZIP+4 Code.

Shopify offers this option and I may need to switch to them because of this issue. I am not the only one. Others are simply avoiding Square/Weebly all together.

If Square is able to make options like Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, etc available, adding APOs to the state drop down menu should be no issue.

I am currently running business at an APO location and all of my customers are located on this base with me. When they try to check out, why are they not able to find AP in the states selection?

This is ridiculous! You have Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoe, Federal State of Micronesia, but you can't put American Pacific, American Europe? We are on American Federal Installations!!! This needs to be fixed now. There is no reason why you can't change this!!

Any update on this? I have a long time customer who is a military family and have recently been stationed overseas. Now she can't place any orders?? Please update the shipping to allow for this option!

I've been asking for this for years - truly frustrating that such an easy and simple addition to help us support our customers is flat out ignored.  This has been an open request for over 4 years.
