At table ordering?

We want to offer a square online store solution that people will be able to use right from their table inside our taproom and then the beer will be delivered to the person for Covid.  (We used to be counter service only, and now are adapting to table service.)

The online store is a great menu (instead of having to print disposables) and people can order right from their chair and our servers can bring their drinks right to the table without having to take the payment and it is one less contact point.  Has anyone done this?  When we setup the store for "pickup" it looks like the guest needs to come to the bar to pick up their beers.  When we set up the store for "deliver" the guests are asked for their home address, which feels intrusive and isn't necessary, we actually need their table number.

Has anyone solved this already? Or used one of the Apps that do this?

Hey @ggilmore-

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

It sounds like you're looking for a customizable fulfillment method that you can use in-restaurant. I'm not sure the Square Online Store would work for that, however, here are some restaurant apps we integrate with that might be helpful.

Hi ggilmore!  We are also a brewery taproom.  Have you figured out anything that worked, or are you still doing table service?  We converted from counter service to table service when we re-opened in June.  Our servers walk around, enter orders, bartender prepares orders, servers go inside and picks up, delivers order, checks out people with their ipad that they carry on a strap with a shockproof case.

That worked well for the summer.  All of our tables are spaced far apart, we have a host that does contact tracing, everyone wears a mask unless they are seated at their table.  However, we are in the North, and now that it's getting colder, we think it may be easier if the customer ordered at the table independently.  But I don't want to compromise on safety or service.  Idea would be: Customer orders and pays on phone. Order prints inside.  We prep the beers, deliver them.  Don't need to stand out there and run cards, etc.  Would still do host seating, contact tracing, bussing tables, etc.  We have heaters at each table to keep customers warm.

I'm looking at these two apps, just curious if you have found anything that worked for you!
