Square Register timing out - not printing drink order dockets

We are having an issue where it seems Square Register 'times out' resulting in the connected docket printer not printing drink orders.

 

In our setup, we have Mr Yum providing an 'order at the table' service. Drinks from this platform print to a dedicated thermal printer connected to (1 of 10) Square Registers, and food items are sent to the kitchen KDS.  After a little while, especially later at night when that particular POS is used less, those drink orders stop printing.  Once a user logs into the POS all the queued dockets print.

 

This is obviously not ideal and would love to know if we have an incorrect setting, or if anyone else has seen this bug.
