Hi, Ive set up stock alerts in Square for retail but how do I create an order per vendor to order in new stock from these alerts?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Just to follow up I also found this

https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6240-purchase-order-management

Although I don't see anything on my dashboard relating to

Auto Generate a New Purchase Order

  1. Visit the Stock Forecast section of your online Square Dashboard.

  2. Select the item(s) or variation(s) in question and click Order more to populate the Edit purchase order screen.

  3. Confirm all applicable information is correct.

  4. Tap Save as draft to save the purchase order for a later date or Create to create the purchase order.

Hey @wpa4x4,

Looks like the article you've linked there is a US support page.

Stock Forecast and Auto Purchase Orders are a new features for Square's online dashboard that only just got launched in the US a couple of weeks ago - unfortunately the feature is yet to be localised for Australia, though I imagine it will be in the future.

I'm making a feature request thread out of your post so we can track demand for these features in Australia - though given it's available in the US now, I imagine it's more of a when not if.

Thanks for the reply Seamus,

I hope you implement it soon as reordering stock within the software is a basic part of

running a retail business not a feature I wouldn't think.

Thanks

Mick

Hi @wpa4x4!

I'm pleased to say the Stock Forecast feature has now been rolled out, so you should be able to see it in your online Square Dashboard.

Would love to hear what you think!
