Does it work with landline phones too? Can we transfer stars from one # to another?

Does data that gets sent to Square Canada get transferred to servers in the U.S.? I have to use a POS system that keeps all information in Canada and does not send it out of country. I am located in British Columbia and want to use Square Canada as my POS system in my school store, however, this is the rule in the Province of B.C.. Data cannot be sent out of country.

Great questions @Jodyfind!

First, Square Loyalty doesn't work with landlines. Your customers must be able to receive an SMS on their mobile device to sign up for your loyalty program, and earn stars.

Second, you can add or remove stars from a customer's profile. Check out this Seller Community post about managing customers' stars.
