Featured categories in online store lead to error 404 page not found?

I'm editing my online store and tried adding a section for "Featured Categories". The pictures and buttons show up but when I click them after publishing they lead to an "error 404 page not found". Why is this happening?

Hey @primopasso!

 

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

 

I reached out to @AdamB who specializes in our Square Online Store. He explained that it's likely that the permalink entered for that category is causing the issue. That would mean that the whole site name was entered for the permalink, when you just want to input the last part of it. For example:

 

You likely entered mysite.square.site/Food when the permalink should just be food

 

Let me know if you try this and are still experiencing the 404 Error. I want to make sure we get this figured out!

I double checked that this was entered correctly. The issue remains.

It may be best at this point to reach out to Weebly directly to see if a ticket should be filed for you if you've gone through all this.

 

You can contact them through their site here or they also offer a phone number if you google support for them too.
