Square App opens Siri

Hello,

  Whenever I open the app on my iphone and insert the card reader, my phone opens siri and will not let me access the app to charge a card. 

Is there a setting I am missing? The problem is fixed when I turn off the microphone, but the app insitists I have the microphone settings on.
