Square Retail: Hidden item becomes visible after creating a PO

We have items that we do not want to be visible on our website and so we make sure to hide them appropriately. However, whenever we create a PO or modify attributes of the item when we backfill sold items that item becomes visible again on the web. How can we be positive an item stays hidden?

@theaidstation I'm sorry to hear this has happened! I'd like to escalate this to our engineering team to investigate further.

 

Can you send me a private message with the details of a Purchase Order you created and the names of the items that were available online that shouldn't have been? It would be great if you could also confirm if you're using Square's Online Store for your website -- or if you're using an eCommerce integration, let me know which one! Specific examples would be really helpful.
