Why is my account, created in Canada, refusing payments in Canadian Dollars and asking for USD?

I created my account for Square in Canada.

I took payments with the square reader and no problem.

Now I have an e-commerce store using Square and Square will not accept payments stating I am a US store and looking for USD.

Where do I find the currency or country that my square store operates on?

Why is my store asking for USD when I created my store in Canada?

I even have a .ca domain name which is only Canadian.

Hope someone can help with this and I must not be the only one with this issue.

I opened my account many years ago and they have had several changes.
