There was an update that popped up for the app yesterday. It hasn't been able to fully download. I deleted the app and redownloaded it and it won't fully download back to my device?
Having this download issue with my iPhone XR but it downloads perfectly on my other work phone which is a iPhone X. I've been to the Apple genius bar and they worked on it for an hour and are stumped why the app loads on one type but not the other.
I am also experiencing a similar issue. I just purchased a Square reader and have not been able to download the app from the App Store despite having updated my software, restarted my phone, and ensured there was enough storage. I have a iPhone XR with iOS 13.3.1 (had a previous iOS version at first and download still did not work). I am trying to use this service for the first time and have not been able to.
Why will the app not work? After last update it has not worked. iOS 13.2.1
After last update the app got hung up so I deleted it tried to reload it on my iPhone and it will not I’m running iOS 13.3.1 and would like to know why the app does not work I’ve done everything I can do
Latest square app update won’t download on iPhone XR but does on older iPad.
Did a phone reset. Didn’t work.
Deleteted app and tried to reload from App Store. Starts to download and then quits.
Have used several years with great success but need it back for our business

This is something we're currently working on with Apple for a fix and only affects the iPhone XR.
We'll update the thread once we have the fix from Apple.
