Client email address

Hello, 

 

We have a client who has somehow ended up using my co workers email address for her square purchases we have an idea of how this may have happened but aren't positive.  Anytime she purchases something with square my co worker gets the email. How do we go about changing her email address? Does she have to do it herself?

Thanks for surfacing this and sorry for the confusion.

 

I think I know what may have happened. It sounds like your coworker's email address got entered as the receipt destination after completing a sale with the client's card. Since then, your coworker may have started receiving automatic receipts as that payment card was used to make purchases with other Square sellers.

 

In order to clear this up, they can follow these steps: Shared Cards with Automatic Receipts. Or they can get in touch with our Customer Success team—they'll be able to take a closer look into the receipt settings and make sure this gets sorted out.
