We have started using the Fresh KDS system and are curious if there is a way to stop a ticket from being sent to the KDS when we are only opening a ticket to either print it again or edit the name of the ticket or voiding an item off a ticket? It's when we hit save - the ticket is sent to the KDS and as a result, tickets are being repoured because we didn't realize until halfway done the event that the tickets were being sent in error to the KDS.

Since Fresh KDS is integrated with Square as a printer, there is no way to edit the ticket without 'printing' it to the KDS screen unfortunately.

@JustinC is there a way to have the system - when doing a reprint for a mod as described - change the location shown to read TICKET REPRINT - so that it would indicate that the ticket need not be worked on because now we are going to have to be running around to the bar team and the kitchen team telling them to not work on a ticket...

@JPWilkinson - Hmm, perhaps when editing the ticket, tap the ticket name above the sale total > hit the down carrot arrow > Edit Ticket. From there, add TICKET REPRINT as a note then save it so the kitchen knows not to prepare it again.
