How can we Include phone number on order ?

Is there a way to edit what info shows on the Orders in the Square dashboard? In the online store we have specified that customers MUST include phone # (so we can communicate by text for home delivery) but that info is not showing up on the order form.  We get their email but that is not as useful.

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

 

I reached out to one of our Square Online Store specialists, @AdamB, and he verified that you should see the phone number they enter on the order detail page in the Orders section. It sounds like something isn't working right, so they suggest you give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you so we can figure this out!

I just found out that I can print orders off my square pos for order fulfillment instead of printing off my computer. When I print a receipt for Pick Up orders the customers name appears but not their phone number even though the phone number is on their order. When I print off delivery receipts the phone number is on the receipt. It would be nice to have the phone number right on the receipt so we can let the customer know their order is processing or ready for pick up. Am I missing something?

According to this thread it looks like there might have been some issues with the phone numbers showing on the orders section.

RATHE THAN TO HAVE TO GO TO THE COMPUTER AND LOOK UP INFO....  Can we please get the phone number printed on the receipt...  When an order is complete...we have to go open it up and do several clicks....   AND    how about a simple way to view FEEDBACK (on the cell phone) WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH SEVERAL STEPS....  Today we are about customer service and responsiveness....These would help!!

When we receive the email that we have gotten an order the complete contact information specifically the phone number is not in the email.

We have to go into the dashboard to retrieve this information.

Where are the settings to allow all of the customer's contact information to be in the order received email?
