Is there any way to verify a card on file?

Once I create a customer profile an add a card, is there any way to verify customer information?

What I mean is this: a customer returns to the portal in order to complete another transaction. He has a card on file. I want him to be prompted to enter some basic information and have his card-ownership verified (s.a. CVV and zip-code) directly with Stripe.

I was unable to find an API call that covered this, when comparing with Paysafe, or Moneris.

Hi again @mike65! The customer profile will have the card information associated to it like this:

card_brand: VISA 

last_4: 1111 

exp_month: 11 

exp_year: 2018

So you could ask the customer to verify against one of these values. Otherwise, I'm afraid we don't have an out of the box solution to verify customer card information to process a payment.
