We are trying to speed-up the entry of tickets at the beginning of an event show and would like to know if tickets can be assigned and appear on a specific day? We know that we have close to 100 people coming per event. And as you can imagine - drink orders flood us right at the start. We have two people frantically creating tickets - but we feel that the creation of the ticket first that we have to go through is holding things up - and so, as we already have the names of the attendees from the ticket purchase via the event management company that is putting on the show - we could go in and pre-create all of the tickets in advance.
The issue here is that the shows are a couple of weeks away and the POS system is being used throughout the day for normal business and having up to 200 tickets in the system will require a lot of scrolling to find new tickets created for normal days.
We also want to be able to enter the tickets via the Dashboard - and not via the iPad - since the iPad are in constant use - and would like to use a dump function where tickets are created by importing the names as entered in the spreadsheet.
