does the KDS have the option to see the order put in

With my previous system was able to see the order as they rang it into the till.

We are a fast food restaurant and it is about fast service, it takes 45 sec's to put together an order but now I'm waiting for the order to be finalized.

Is this possible?

What I mean is that on my old system, they would enter the order on the POS and as it was entered, it was shown on the KDS.

So if they ordered 3 regular items and then took a few minutes to think about their drink selection, I was able to start the order even before the order was paid and finalized .

On the Square, the order is entered on the POS and only after the customer pays and finalizes the order, it will show up on the KDS. So now I have to wait until the KDS shows the order and I can start cooking it.
