Transfert of domain name

My website is nolwennleurquin.weebly.com and i would like to buy the domain name nolwennleurquin.com through weebly.
I would like to be sure that if i do it, my customer with the old url will be redirect automatically to the new one.
Do i need to do something special ?

Hi there, @tebbenji,

If you purchase a domain through us and connect that domain to your existing site, it will automatically forward over. If someone has a previous link of yours and goes to it, it will take them to your new site name.

Thanks Ellie, this is exactly what we did this morning but unfortunately the redirection are not working.
Old URL --> https://nolwennleurquin.weebly.com/
New URL --> http://www.nolwennleurquin.com/

Did you forward the domain over or connect it with DNS records?

It's appear as free subdomain in my account but it's display "not available" as you can see on the link below

I didn't touch to the DNS and i don't if i can do it with weebly.

How can i do ?
