Not getting store purchasing notifications from Weebly App

Hey, I have an online store that has been working really well from the weebly app. For some reason today, the weebly app doesn't seem to be giving notifications (cash register noise) whenever an order has been placed. It has been doing this very flawlessly for the past few months until today. Already missed a couple orders because of this. Anyone else experiencing this, thoughts or solutions on this?

All notification settings in the app and on the iphone are switched to on, but it's still not giving me notifications through the weebly app.

December 2020 Update: The issue mentioned in the original post was resolved, however notifications stopped again towards the end of November. The cause for this is a separate issue and involves working with another provider to resolve. While I don't have an ETA on how long it will take, we are hoping that this should be fixed soon.

I checked with our team and our advanced support team has filed a bug with our engineers for this. Hopefully the issue should be resolved soon. Thanks for your patience!

Since the new app update has installed I'm not receiving any sales notifications to my phone or I watch, I rely on these as orders go to my junk email box so I rely on them. I've turned the options on and off and on again in the app, phone and watch settings. Help!!!

Hey, I'm having problems with this too. Just started happening today July 10th for me. Was working flawless yesterday....the notifcation part of the app at least...Where's the cash register noise ?!?!

I'm glad it's not just me, I spoke to support via chat and their team is going to look into it... there must be a glitch with the new app version? I hope it's sorted soon.

Have you reported it too? I did so via the chat under support. If we all let them know hopefully it will get fixed faster? Or hopefully one of the team will see this!

I made another thread on this. I've already noticed a couple other people's recent threads that have had this same problem too:

Weird that it's taking this long getting any response from any administrator/moderator on this topic. Pretty important feature to have bugged up in my opinion and it seems like it would have been an easy/obvious fix. Where did you report this to? I had a little trouble finding weebly's support/chat section.

Paranoid about missing orders so I am checking lots .. not ideal though. It must have been their new update. I reported it via the support section that gives the option to still contact after typing a question in, that chat button  was there as well as email option. I spoke to a lovely bloke called Nathan who explained that his team would look into it, but they had no reports of notifications not working. Crossed fingers it's fixed soon as it's a hugely important feature.

Hi Claire.

I am also having the same problem with no notificactions whatsoever which is really frustrating. What is interesting is in your post as when i had this problem i contacted support and their reply was the same even though there was alot of feedback saying everything was NOT ok. I have to say the support from them is getting less and less with slow, negative responses. We all pay for the service however the service is no where near as good as it was or with other website builders.

We will await the app to work ;-/

There was an issue with the iOS app and notifications, though our engineers made a change yesterday which should have fixed it. If you aren't seeing them still let me know, though!

I still don't receive app notifications.  Even after this "fix" that happened.  Please advise if specefic things need to be checked.  Using iphone 11.

Hi @Adam ive updated using  the August 18th update. Still no notifications when tested. Customers are reporting not to be receiving texts too?

Text messages for customers wouldn't be affected by this, although I did check and seems like there was an issue that delayed some text messages notifications. That issue should be resolved. With app notifications, our Advanced Support team has opened a bug ticket with our engineers for investigation.

Notifications stopped working weeks ago and this is harming my business, orders are being missed.  This is the 4th time iOS notifications have stopped this year.  Weebly is hurting my business.
