To get things going, I'll share my favorite food:
Hotdish. Growing up in Minnesota, it was always a good day when my mother put together the beloved comfort food known as tater tot hotdish. Illustration below (my dog, Odin, has an appreciation for this masterpiece as well):
I'm also giving a shoutout to a handful of new folks who joined since last Wednesday. Hi!

Holy Cow, @Tom - Tater Tot Hotdish sounds and looks incredible.
I also just love the name Hotdish. Proper Noun Hotdish.
Also, Totdish.
I'm a big meat man. Steaks & Bacons. Can't go wrong.
The thicker, and rarer, the better. All about that crispy sear.
Totdish! That's a new one for me! I'll be sure to bring that term back to MN next timeโmy fam will get a kick out of it.
And that sear, I'm inspired! ๐

@Tom I do love a good wordplay!
1.5 inch New York Strip, salt liberally, super high heat, fat side first to get some natural oil in the pan, and then let it ride, flipping according to your preference/philosophy!
