How to resize receipt for smaller thermal print paper?

I have the Star TSP100 printer, and receipts are printed perfectly with a larger thermal paper roll.

How do I resize receipt content to fit smaller thermal paper roll, so text are not cut out like in this picture?

As far as I know, you need to use the wider paper rolls.  I don't believe there is an option to change paper roll size.

Any update to the printing size issue? Just bought the sticky label printer with optimism the sizes could be adjusted...now, like everyone else, as I am trying to find out how to do it. I notice this forum requesting this feature dates back three years asking for the same feature...and I sigh because it sounds like I may have spent money in vain. Square, I do hope you are listening...you have many loyal followers, but little features like this can take the wind out of our sails...

Couldn’t get it to work. Star said it was an issue with Square and Square couldn’t help. All is not lost though,I still use it but a couple times a day we have to open the lid and move the paper roll left with the narrow paper (I’m going to cut an old plastic roll guide and use as a spacer and see how that works).   Not ideal but it’s better than alternatives. I did use non sticky paper in it from my receipt printer and it works great because it’s wider  ( it’s regular thermal paper) but doesn’t stick. I bought the normal width MaxStick 2go but that paper just rolled back in and rolled up on the feed roller and didn’t come out but not a square issue I’m guessing a printer issue but the narrow rolls feed fine.

This is a really silly missing feature for hardware that can cost in the thousands of dollars. Please get it fixed! We need the smaller paper. The TPS100III supports it like a dream, but the software from Square does not. This would be a simple fix.

It would be nice to be able to adjust the parameters of the reciept look and feel as well, but that's hardly as important.

Is there a way to get all the font to fit on the smaller receipt paper yet ?

We have the TSP100iiiU receipt printer and it comes with an attachment to reduce the paper size but from what I have read and researched, there isn't an option to reduce the paper size in square.

What gives?
