Desperately need more control of online order pickup status

Square desperately needs to allow operators to set parameters for when products will be ready for pick up or delivery. We especially need to be able to handle pre-order products that are not scheduled to be released for some time, and/or whose street dates may change.

 

We take pre-orders for many upcoming releases. In the product description we note the release date, but when a customer finishes an order, Square automatically tells the customer that the order should be ready for pickup in x days, often well before the product is scheduled to release. This causes a lot of confusion for our customers, and a lot of extra management of those customers on our staff.
