cash refund

I have been trying to issue a cash refund and it's not letting me. What am i doing wrong. It will let me refund a credit card, but not a cash transaction. Thanks

Refunds should be able to be performed regardless of card or cash or other.  Can you give more insight into what you are seeing when you try to issue the refund?  Are you attempting to perform this on the same device that the cash was received?  Are you getting some kind of error message?

Hi! Yes, I'm using it on the same terminal that i use to check clients out. I had put the cash transaction as "custom amount" and when i tried to refund that money, it doesn't let me even click it to open.

That seems odd.  You may need to reach out to support to have them look at the transaction with you to see what could be the issue.  Typically, you should be able to create a refund on any transaction, including cash.  And it should not matter what type of item you added to the transaction.
