square consulting

Does Square offer any type of resource to freelance consultants similar to something like Quickbooks proadvisors?  Something like a Square Proadvisor?

@BStallings Not to be cheeky, but you are sort of already in the freelance community of consultants just by posting here.  Except here, the advice is free.  If you want to pose a little more specifics, some of the supersellers can help you with questions without you having to fork over any money.

Otherwise, if you can put out a few more specifics about the type of consultant you are looking for, we might be able to direct you a little better.  The app marketplace for square has a ton of good companies and integrations for specific businesses too.

Ok here goes.  We have a nonprofit that operates a Thrift Store, Coffee Shop, Pizza Cafe and sells retail merchandise such as t-shirts, books, mugs, etc.  Each of these have their own square register/location.  We allow individuals to do volunteer work on our campus to earn reward points that they can then use at any of these locations on purchases.  Can we set-up customer accounts based on names and apply/assign the points(dollar value) to their customer account so that they could use them at any of the locations?  We also don't want to pay fees on this process so it looks like using an eGift Card doesn't work.

E-Gift Cards would actually probably be your best bet, there is no charge for e-gift cards. Alternatively could could use a loyalty program and manually add points for each of the volunteers but then you would be paying for the loyalty program and it would be difficult to set up without the customers also being able to participate.

E-Gift cards would let you issue gift cards per volunteer and let them use them at their convenience.

Note that the E-Gift Cards are free when processed as "Cash" (Basically you create a 100% discount which gets applied to the E-Gift Cards).

The percentage is when someone buys a e-gift card with a card.
