How To Export Loyalty Data

Feel like I'm missing something obvious:

How do I export all my loyalty customers phone numbers along with how many points they have currently earned?

Update: Square CAN export all your loyalty phone numbers and points earned in a .csv file. You just have to call and talk to the loyalty department, rather than export it yourself on the dashboard, and they will email it to you! Thanks!

Hi @beanfosters!

While you can export your customer's contact information from the Customer Directory section of the Square Online Dashboard, it is currently not possible to export a CSV file with your customer's Loyalty points and data. It's a feature that we're working on, and will hopefully be available in the future.

You can view customer Loyalty information from the Loyalty section of your Square Online Dashboard. Please click here to view a Seller Community thread that has instructions on how to view Loyalty data from the Customer Directory section as well.

@isabelle Thanks for your response -- that is surprising! Even more surprising: that linked thread is from a year ago!

Our customers are in the thousands and loyalty visits in the tens of thousands. Is there anyway we could get such a report in the next week?

Just phone numbers and current points. Not name, last visited, total visits, average spend, email, total spent, company, reference ID, birthday, etc.

Thanks!

Hey @beanfosters! Thanks for the reply.

We don't currently have an exportable report that is just customer name and Loyalty points.

To view our available reports, please go to your Customer Directory in Dashboard. When viewing your Customer Directory, there will be a gray plus sign beneath the word Filter. When you click this plus sign, you will be able to check off which details you'd like to see for your customers (name, email, phone number, birthday, total spent, avg. spent, etc). From there, go ahead and select the Export button. That should download a CSV file with whatever information you want (minus the Loyalty points, sorry!).

Please feel free to give us a call tomorrow so you can speak with a Loyalty, Marketing, and Directory specialist.

Our number is (855) 700-6000 - but you'll also need your customer code.  The steps to look up your code are here. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

@isabelle Haha. I was saying I didn't need all that info. All I need is phone numbers and how many points currently earned. Unfortunately, loyalty points is not one of the details provided under that '+' sign. Oh well. I'll try to call tomorrow. Thanks!

You can contact our CS team via squ.re/support, and mention you'd like to speak to a Square Loyalty expert, @Brannigan77 😊👍

that just took me to a page with a ton of other stuff on it... no phone number at all.  if anything it made everything more confusing.  what do i have to do to speak with someone on the phone.  why is this so hard?  with Vagaro i could call a number and enter the extension of my personal support expert at any time.

Hey @BeansCafe 👋 I've merged your post to this thread to echo beanfoster's post above - looks like you'll need to call our Appointments Team to do this. I hope this helps!

Although square will send you a .csv with phone numbers and current loyalty points IF YOU CALL THEM, they will NOT send you a file with name, numbers, and current loyalty points. They say it is not possible although on the dashboard, we can get names with numbers but no points, then on their system they can send numbers and points but no names. This is so obviously a way for square to make it difficult to transfer to other loyalty programs while keeping our clients' loyalty points correct. Which is pretty messed up considering that we payed for the loyalty service AND even if we leave the loyalty program we're still paying processing fees.

If square cares about it's clients whatsoever it would make a change to this immediately. Have the directory export show loyalty points, it'd be so easy.
