Options- Colors

I'm trying to add options to items. I want them to be able to select a color. I have it all set up with all the colors and the colors do show up on the item page.

The issue is no text appears when a color is selected. I may have 3 or 4 different shades of orange and having a the name of the color appear when the color bubble is selected with be great. In the help section I found a video on Options and in that view the color name pop up right next to the Option name

HI, within the Edit Item under Variations add the Color Name.

OR, if you created the colors by Option Set, assign the Color Name

For some reason I cannot add screen shots here.
I set the colors as an Option Set. I am given a choice of a dropdown, radios or colors. I chose colors. For each color I typed the color name and the square next to it changed to color I typed in. These options then showed up in my variations.

I have a string Material Variation and that is in a drop down
And a color option. On the webpage it says
String Color 1
and under them it has colored circles. It is my understanding that when you click on a circle the color name (the name I typed in when setting up the option) should appear right after the words "String Color 1"
But it does not. 

I really like having the actual color circles to click on and I really do not want to go with a drop down box.

HI, when you add the Option Set it does not assign the color to the name?

I have it set up exactly like your screenshot. But when you go to the webpage and you select the Red circle, the text "Red" does not appear.
