[UPDATE 22 May 2023] Inclusive Taxes are now supported with Square Subscriptions
Hi Sellers! 👋
Square supports charging price inclusive taxes. When taxes are set to be inclusive, the price of each item sold will already include the tax. These taxes can be added as you set up a new subscription.
On Square Dashboard and Square Point of Sale, Square Subscriptions now supports charging price inclusive taxes on new subscriptions. To add an inclusive tax on a new subscription, tap Sales tax and add the percent amount on the modal under Tax Amount. Check the box for “include tax in subscription price” and tap Save.

That's great to hear! Inclusive taxes can make things simpler and more transparent for both businesses and customers. With inclusive taxes, the advertised price of a product or service includes all applicable taxes, so there are no surprises at checkout.
It's good to see that Square Subscriptions now supports inclusive taxes. This means that businesses using Square Subscriptions can set up their subscription plans to include taxes in the price, making it easier for them to manage their pricing and for customers to understand the total cost of their subscriptions. It's a small but important step towards making pricing more transparent and inclusive for everyone...
