how can you account for sales occurring within the same minute?

On occasion, when changing drawers between shifts, a transaction occurs within the same minute but isn't reflected in the sales report in a way that corresponds to the last time the sales report was printed. This has caused over under issues. I have created a report that covers the time between when the report is generated and the last time it was generated and found that it did not include the first transaction in the first minute of the report so the drawer has an overage in the amount of that first transaction's total.

Hello!

Are you using (Cash management) ?

I use two drawers. When a shift change happens, the current drawer is ended, report is printed, and the new ( Already counted out) drawer goes in. Then we start a new drawer, go into the office and the associate reconciles the draw with a MOD. 20 second turnover for drawers.

If you end drawers, you should not see sales captured that bleed over into another reporting period. (Is that the case? Cash management, closing drawers and still seeing a transaction posting delay?)
