Is there away to get alerts when a client has purchased a product other than checking in your square store

You will recieve an email. Make sure you have it turned on in the dashboard under Email Notifications. Scroll to the bottom and check Online Store Orders. This will be sent to the email you login with and listed in your personal information.

If you have automatic printing for Remote Orders turned on, your receipt printer will churn out an order ticket.
You can get an alert on your POS on your tablet if you have automatic printing turned off.
If you want it to automatically print an order ticket AND get an alert, you have to do a workaround that we came up with and works for us:
Set up an email filter on your email address to catch and forward the Square Order Received emails and forward them to a brand new email address that you will use ONLY for this. Set up that email address on the tablet you’re using for orders & notifications, and set up a notification on that email address with a specific sound and duration. And bingo! Notifications and automatic printing of Online Orders
