There are many ways to get scammed.
The most common & likely is the chargeback scam. They order something and “pay” by credit card, you send it, they receive it, and then they call their credit card company to reverse the charges, so they get the money back and you lose.
They sometimes also offer to pay more, and you send some money to a third party, so you doubly lose.
