Does WIX see ALL my square payments or only payments going thru my WIX site?

I am trying to use square to process payments on a WIX website.  I got a message from square saying “WIX is requesting permission to read my payment history including ALL incoming payments and refunds.”   What?!?!   WIX should only be able to see payments processed thru the website, not all payments.  Is this just poorly worded or will WIX in fact have access to ALL my square payment info?

If for some reason they’re not able to help you, our team can investigate further if you provide your support ticket number, but I can say that the two platforms do need to exchange information so that we can take the payments and deposit them for you.
