Does the chip reader come with adapter to connect it to universe case?

I recieved my square chip reader from square they advertised it connects to the otter box universe case iPhone 6s but my reader came with no adapter   The product stated it attached itself so that's why I bought it but mine doesn't. Thanks

I have a chip reader and an iPhone 6.  The connector that came with my chip reader has a USB connector.  I assume there is an adaptor.

@sarabhart While we don't provide the adaptor, the USB connector can be plugged into any USB Port such as one on a personal computer or a laptop, or your phone charger if the plug is removable.

Does this mean I can't use it with my iPhone or with my iPad?  That doesn't seem to make sense to me.

@sarabhard the USB connector is used only to charge your Square Contactless and Chip Card Reader. The reader connects to your device via Bluetooth.
