Fees: I signed up through a referral link, how does that work?

I signed up through a referral link to avoid fees.  How does that work?  Does it just work on swiped transactions or manual ones as well?

It's good to hear one of your friends referred you to use Square for your business. 

So long as you used the referral link to sign up, the free processing reward is applied to your account automatically. 

You can see which rewards you have available in the the Get Free Processing section of your online Square Dashboard.

Also, when checking to see if your free processing is actually applying to your payments, it's important to remember that the free processing reimbursements are applied on a per-transaction basis and are automatically grouped with your next deposit.
