Finding a recent transaction in Activity screen very difficult since names not listed.

 

 

We are finding it difficult to find a recent transaction in the Activity screen since customer names are not listed. We just keep picking the credit card transactions then show the customer and ask them if that is their card. This is very unprofessional and irritates our customers. We use an Android Square POS bundle solution.

Is there a reason you wouldn't search by the card number to start? Currently, you're able to search your transaction history either by receipt number or the customer's card number. Not every transaction will have a customer's name associated with, so these given options will be searchable every time.

We know our customers by name, not by their card number. His card was already put away and he was sitting down eating. The printer ran out of paper so we told him we'd bring him his receipt. All our lunches are $5 so we couldn't tell which transaction was his without looking through them all and asking him if that was his card.
