How to spot fake emails

I recently recieved a email that said " congratulations user " you have a payment of 580.90 click here to see it in your dashboard... do not click in the email because you give the person your account info by doing so.

It is a shame how so many people try to take advantage of people with these scam/spam emails.  always be on the lookout and never click links in emails, always go to the source directly.
