Re occurring discount

I am starting a mug club in our tasting room. We plan to give $1 off full pours to members. I can set discount up but only use once, not multiple times, it grays out. Naturally I can have a blank discount and add up the drinks before cash out and apply a number but is there a way to do a discount for select groups that can be used multiple times on an open tab?

Cool program that you are setting with the mug club, a local place near me has a similar program and use Square. I would suggest using the automatic discount feature within the discounts section of your Square Dashboard. Set the purchase rule to item or category and then under apply to items, choose the items variations you want to apply it to.

Let's say you have an item 'Hard Cider', under that item you can have two variations 'Regular' and 'Mug Club'. Note: you could just skip the discount step and charge less for the 'Mug Club' variation in your item library.
