Hi there, @lu3 - this is a great question! Thanks for asking it here.
To answer your question directly - yes! Our Point of Sale app will calculate correct change to be issued to your customer in the event that they use Cash for a full or partial payment.
You can find more details on all of the features of Cash Management through Square here.
Let me know if you have any questions. I am here to help!

I can't find the answer on the page you give. We have a new Square terminal and want to know how to use the terminal to calculate cash change. We don't want to do it in our heads each time

Hi @3216conect,
Thanks for writing in, and welcome to the community!
Yes, your Square Terminal calculates cash change for you. Follow these steps:
1. Add an item, or enter a custom amount in your Checkout.
2. Tap Charge.
3. Tap the X in the top left corner to choose Cash as the payment method.
4. Enter the amount your customer is handing you. The Terminal will show you the change you'll need to hand back to your customer 👍
