has anyone else had issues with their clients seeing what appears to be two charges to their credit card pending even though on my end I can see I only charged them once? This has happened for two of my clients in the past month and they contact me thinking I double charged them! The second charge eventually disappeared from their statement. According to the credit card company the issue is with the merchant so that would mean its some glitch with what square is doing.

@Rhar I've seen this a couple of times before. Both companies blame each other.
Regardless, as long as it is correct in your account, confirm that with your customer and ask them to wait until their next statement and if it's still there tell them you will dig deeper and make it right.
In each of my experiences with this, the customer agreed and it was never a double charge.
