We accepted a USA card that seemed to be thicker and heavier than normal - the card did not have tap capabilities. After accepting payment we could no longer accept any chip payments on any other cards as the cards could not be inserted into square reader. I forced one card in and it damaged the card. The reader will still accept tap payments under $100.
