Contactless Reader: I get a message that Square needs to be updated but everything is up to date

Canadian user here.

Trying to take a payment using the contactless reader.  When customer taps credit card I get a message that Square needs to be updated...app store shows that everything is up to date.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. It sounds like you might have the Point of Sale app downloaded on another device and that's the one that requires an update.

I think we may have figured it out...maybe.

Issue may have been due to the type of card that was used.

We don't hold a lot of events, so we don't get much of a chance to process multiple playments using differnt types of cards.  We think the customer that was tying to make the payment was using a format that isn't accepted.
