Loyalty on square register

Hi there, We signed up for the new Square loyalty earlier this month and have been impressed so far. We've had customers use it whilst ordering from their tables and made use of it during table service via out iPad.
The info suggests that the loyalty options also work with Square Register (but no the restaurants version) so I factory reset our register and logged in using the regular Square app and updated to the newest interface. There is no option for loyalty showing in the settings, no loyalty options during checkout (i.e telling you qualified loyalty/rewards available) and nothing after a transaction on the customer display.

Could anyone help?
