Is connecting the register to the cash drawer via adhesive tape stable and it recommended?

Is it advisable to place the register on top of the cash drawer with the adhesive tape method?  Will it last over time?

Just so I understand your question, and your needs, what would be the purpose of attaching the register and cash drawer with adhesive tape? Further stability?

@We do have one of our Square Registers mounted to a Cash Drawer using the adhesive on the metal mounting plate! It’s been on there for 2+ years with no issues so far!
