Is the square terminal (cost - $299) able to read credit card numbers without the card present?

Hi there,

QUESTION - Is the square terminal (cost - $299) able to read credit card numbers without the credit card being actually present? The reason - This B and B can charge 14 days prior to the arrival-check-in date of a guest - so I need a card reader that charges credit cards by just putting in the 16 digits, expiry date and 3 digit code.  Thanks sincerely for your feedback!

Hey there, @cognizant - 

Yes, the Square Terminal has the ability to enter manual payments - if you'd like. There is a higher processing fee too.
