Can I add a tax exempt number to my Square account?

I run a synagogue Judaica shop.  I am about to purchase the Square chip reader.  The app that I downloaded to a tablet was asking for a tax ID number.  As a religious organization, I have our Temple's tax exempt number but it won't accept it.  What am I suppose to do?

Hi there. 

A Tax ID or Employer Identification Number is used to identify a business entity. Generally, businesses need an EIN.

Tax ID numbers are optional when signing up and can be entered after you create your Square Account at any time in the Square Dashboard. 

This is the number you'll want to enter in that field if you have it.
