How can I see how long it takes from the time an order is placed to when it's completed/purchased?

I would like to find how much time has passed when an order is placed and when it is fulfilled, which is the purchase time for us. Is there any way to find this?

In order to better understand your business need, could you tell me more about your process? How is the customer placing an order without making a purchase first?
