Is there anyway that you can lock the device so people can't change from one account to another?
So it's locked into one account only?

Hi there @pep2003, thanks for posting in the Seller Community and welcome.
Yes, you can enable a team passcode via team permissions that will be required before being able to sign out of the account on any given device or app.
A Team Passcode is the easiest and quickest way to give your team access to accept payments while securing specific areas and actions at the point of sale. This means all team members will share the same access and permissions across the Square Point of Sale app, while the account owner’s Personal Passcode unlocks any restricted areas and actions.
So using your own owner passcode, you wouldn't be prompted to enter your passcode when signing out of the app or device, but anyone else using the team passcode would be.
From your Online Square Dashboard
- Visit Staff > Team > Permissions in your online Square Dashboard.
- Select Team Permissions.
- Create or generate a random team passcode. Record and share this passcode with your team.
- Select the permissions you’d like all team members to have. If a team member tries to access an area you haven’t selected, they’ll need a passcode from a team member with the correct permissions enabled to proceed.
- Click Save.
From your Square Point of Sale / device.
- From the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap More > Settings > Security > Passcodes.
- Turn Passcodes on.
- Turn Allow Team Passcode on.
You can read more information on personal and team passcodes here.
Let me know if you need any help.
