I have an online store set up and I was wanting to see another flower shops site, see how they take recipients information along with desired delivery date and card messages.  The checkout currently does not have a designated area to gather this info, I'm having to create my own, simply wanting to see how other flower shops have done this.

You can create a text box modifier to allow your customers to leave a message or custom request for their order. Here's how:

 

1. Log in to your Square Online dashboard.

 

2. Go to Items > Site Items and select an item. 

 

3. Scroll to > Modifiers > Manage Modifiers > Create New.

 

3. Choose "typing into a text box" and add a text box label with the information you'd like to collect.

 

 

4. Click Save when you're done. 

 

Square Online also allows you to set up scheduled delivery for customers wanting to chose a particular date to collect their order.
