Inventory: Are there any restrictions if your inventory is 0?

I am using inventory management for the first time at an upcoming event.  Has anyone run into issues with inventory restrictions when square shows 0?  I want to be able to run negative in the event we sent more quantity than is recorded in square and not be slowed down by needing to add inventory.

You can run into the negative.  Once you hit zero nothing happens unless you have low stock notifications turned on.  All that does is flag it and send you an email.
