Questions about Weebly and eCommerce

Ohhh boy. Finally got to upgrade my Square online store to Weebly. Yay!!!

 

not. so. fast. 

major major issues and I’m already shopping for a new e-commerce platform. Here’s hoping there are solutions. 

1.  Orders sync to Square Orders. Not square market. So guess what?  Email notifications no longer work. I have no idea any orders have come in. Not good. These are Square settings that are now useless. 

2.  No email notifications from Weebly about orders either. Not in my Spam, nothing. Again, can’t fulfill orders I don’t know about. This is REALLY bad.

3.  Talking about fulfillment - guess what doesn’t work with Shipstation?  Any Square Weebly order. Even though Shipstation DOES connect to Weebly, it won’t with the Square version. 

and yes, Shipstation and Square Market work great!  Have for years!  Especially helpful when I sell 300 of something in 2 hours. Oh but since Weebly orders sync to Square into the orders tab and NOT the Market tab (as before), they don’t import to Shipstation. 

so I’m completely screwed. No way to get my mass orders to Shipstation and no way to get notified of my orders anyway!  Please, this is absolutely unacceptable and has put me in a horrible bind. 

what do I do?

@VanTiki I'm really sorry that you've had trouble with your new Online Store. For issues 1 & 2, please give us a call so we can investigate. We definitely want you to know when you've received an order! 

 

Unforutnatly you're right - there currently isn't an integration with ShipStation. Were you using ShipStation for the batch label creation or for other features too? I'm checking with Weebly specialists to see if there are any alternative integrations that might help.
