Square Payroll And Homebase

I’m using Homebase for scheduling and clicking in/timesheets. Trying to use square payroll but can’t get the timecard importing to work right. Any tips/tricks or insider info on what I’m doing wrong?

Hey @LOKAL,

I reached out to our Payroll team and they said you should be able to manually enter or copy and paste the correct token from Square into Homebase.

Hey there, @Milkshake - 

I would suggest to double check the employee tokens. It sounds like the Homebase token doesn't match in the Payroll for the employees you're having issues with.

Thanks for this note. I, too, am having issues with Square and Homebase synching. Can you advise on how to update the "square payroll ID" or "tokens" for employees? I am able to create / modify them in Homebase, but can't seem to find them in Square. Thank you so much.

I have two employees whose payroll numbers are not flowing from Homebase to Square.  All of the other employees work fine.  The issue is that the Employee ID from Square Payroll is not showing up in Homebase.  How do I get the Square Payroll employee ID into Homebase and what should I do in the future to not have this happen.

@LOKAL When you're viewing the Employee on your Payroll Dashboard- the token should show at the top in the web address/URL.

I don't see a token, just the web address. Can you show us a picture of what a token is?
